Food and wine belong together. This is something we have confirmed in the dozens of wine tastings we have organized regularly for 15 years.
Sometimes we test wines on their own, but more often we test regional cuisines with numerous wines from the same geographical area. The testing has been thorough, but not scientifically serious.
This service has been born from these wonderful experiences that we now want to share. We wanted to create a publication where we can tell the whole world what we have learned about the pairing of food and wine.
We believe that our extensive knowledge is valuable enough to be shared rather than kept to ourselves. Welcome aboard!
Hi, I'm Janne Putkonen
I am a passionate wine enthusiast from Tampere, which is the third-largest city in Finland. Although I am the creator of this website, its content has emerged from numerous wine tastings in collaboration with other enthusiasts. I often use the word 'we' to emphasize the importance of community.
